I WILL BE PUTTING IN A SERIES OF PICTURES AND WRITING TO HELP ANY ONE WHO IS JUST STARTING DEER STALKING OR FINDS THE DRESSING OUT OF THE DEER A BIT OF A TASK.

place the deer on its back. pull the back legs apart and make your first cut in the belly.be very careful at this point as not to burst right through to the stomach.

BY PLACING YOUR FINGERS IN YOUR FIRST CUT YOU CAN SEPERATE
THE BELLY SKIN FROM THE STOMACH. KEEP YOUR FINGERS BETWEEN THE KNIFE AND THE STOMACH AND SLIDE THE KNIFE UP TO THE RIBS.
THIS WILL GIVE YOU A NICE WIDE OPENING SO THAT YOU CAN REMOVE ALL THE CONTENTS.

NEXT OPEN UP THE THROAT AND CUT THROUGH THE WIND PIPE AND FEED TUBE. THIS WILL MAKE IT EASY TO DRAW THE WIND PIPE
AND FEED TUBE DOWN FROM THE OPENING IN THE STOMACH.YOU WILL NOW BE ABLE TO REMOVE EVERY THING IN ONE GO NO MESS.

WELL NOT MUCH MESS. REMEMBER TO USE GLOVES FOR THIS AS IT MAKES GOOD HYGIENE.

BACK AT HOME HANG THE DEER UP AND REMOVE THE LOWER PART OF THE LEGS. NOW YOU SHOULD HAVE A CARCASS ONLY.

ALL THATS LEFT TO DO IS OPEN UP THE RIBS RIGHT DOWN THE NECK
AND PLACE A WEDGE IN THE GAP THIS WILL ALLOW THE CARCASS TO
COOL PROPERLY.
